Palestinian refugee women organized a solidarity stand in the capital, Damascus, in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples in facing the crimes of the occupation in the region and condemning its atrocities, in front of the United Nations headquarters in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
The participants demanded in a memorandum addressed to the UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, to end the aggression and genocide being perpetrated by the occupation in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon, to protect women and children, and the necessity of releasing the prisoners and allowing humanitarian aid into the sector, in addition to stopping the killings, incursions, and arrests in Palestinian cities and villages.
The participants called for an end to all forms of torture against Palestinian prisoners, pressing the occupation to allow the Red Cross access to the prisoners and to review their conditions, to permit visits from their families and lawyers, and to demand the release of the bodies of the martyrs held by the occupation.
The participants condemned the illegal actions against the UNRWA, which is considered a witness to the Nakba of the Palestinian people, and that the laws issued by the occupation prohibit the organization's work in Palestine, and that these actions complete the genocide being perpetrated against them.
