Lebanon.. Searching for a missing Syrian Palestinian in Baalbek

Action Group | Lebanon

In an unfortunate incident, activists from the Action Group for Palestinians in Syria reported the disappearance of the Palestinian Syrian refugee "Alaa Mohammed Hassan," residing in the Jalil Camp in Baalbek, eastern Lebanon. He left his home more than 15 days ago and has not returned yet, raising concern among his family and friends.

Activists and the family of the missing person have appealed to anyone with information or news about the young man, Alaa, to contact the following phone numbers, or to consult anyone from the Jalil camp in Baalbek: (81331718) (70438662).

Several Lebanese areas, including Baalbek, are being subjected to intense Israeli airstrikes, resulting in casualties among Lebanese and Palestinians from Lebanon and Syria. The aggression has also displaced thousands of Palestinian Syrian families. UNRWA statistics indicate that the number of Syrian Palestinian refugees in Lebanon before the aggression was 29,000 refugees.
