Legal activists call for documenting missing persons in Sabinah camp

 Action Group | Damascus Countryside

A team of legal activists in Sabinah camp for Palestinian refugees called on the camp residents to cooperate in completing a census of the missing and forcibly disappeared from the camp’s residents, with the aim of following up on their legal status and preserving their rights, in a way that preserves the gains of the Syrian revolution and immortalizes the blood of the martyrs.

The team stressed the importance of the residents’ cooperation in providing the required information by visiting one of the following law firms: Lawyer Amer Hamid’s office: Sabinah - Main Street - Opposite the Digital Library.

Lawyer Wael Bakr’s office: North of the River - Next to the Vegetable Market.

 Lawyer Muhammad Freija’s office:

Al-Sharqatli neighborhood - Next to the marble factory. Lawyer Muhammad Khaled’s office: Sabinah camp - Al-Saadi Street.

The team stressed the need to fill out the required form according to the form attached to the advertisement, while adhering to the deadline set for Thursday, December 26, 2024, during the period from 11 am to 2 pm.

Residents are required to bring the following documents when filling out the form: A copy of the missing person’s ID (if any). Family book. UNRWA card.

Any additional information related to the form.

This move comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to shed light on the issue of detainees and forcibly disappeared persons, and to provide the necessary legal means to pursue their rights and ensure that their file is not closed without achieving the desired justice
