Action Group - Syria
The Action Group for Palestinians of Syria has launched a documentary series titled "Palestinians of the Syrian Revolution," highlighting a number of Palestinian figures who actively participated in the Syrian revolution from its inception and contributed to its various aspects, whether on the ground, in relief efforts, or in media and human rights advocacy.
The series aims to document the roles of Palestinians in Syria within the revolutionary movement and to emphasize their presence as an integral part of the Syrian landscape, within the context of a shared struggle imposed by years of oppression and violence perpetrated by Bashar al-Assad's regime against both Syrians and Palestinians.
The series recounts the stories of Palestinian figures who left a clear mark during the years of the revolution, many of whom fell in clashes with regime forces, while others continued their activism in the fields of humanitarian support, documentation, and conveying the truth, despite the dangers and harsh conditions.
This series is part of preserving collective memory and presenting a documented and responsible account of the experience of Palestinians in Syria during the revolution, free from political manipulation or emotional rhetoric, and ensuring that this presence is recorded within its historical and legal context.
The series materials are scheduled to be published successively through the working group's platforms, within documentary files aimed at making information available to researchers, media professionals, and those interested in Syrian and Palestinian affairs.
