Daraa – Action Group
Joint technical teams, comprising the Daraa City Council, the Directorate of Technical Services, and the Civil Defense, have begun a campaign to remove rubble and debris from the streets and neighborhoods of Daraa Camp. This initiative stems from the outcomes of a recent meeting between the Governor of Daraa, the Community Development Committee, and local community leaders.
The campaign aims to clear accumulated waste within the camp, improve public services, and facilitate the movement of residents, thereby alleviating the daily burdens they face due to the accumulation of rubble in roads and public spaces.
According to available information, these efforts are part of a local plan to reorganize services within the camp, enhance public safety, and rehabilitate facilities and streets, thereby contributing to restoring some semblance of normalcy to residents’ daily lives.
