Private resources confirmed to the AGPS that some Palestinian factions in Damascus are recruiting the Palestinian youth in the Palestinian camps and compounds in order to fight alongside the Syrian regime forces against the Syrian armed opposition groups. The PFGC, Fatah Al-Intifada, Alsaeqa, Free Palestine Movement, and the Popular Struggle are recruiting youth, while they are spread at the entrances of the besieged Yarmouk camp, Khan Dannon, ALsayeda Zainab, Husseneia, and Jaramana, in addition to camps controlled by the Regime forces; such as Al Aedein camp in Homs, Hama, Neirab camp in Aleppo, and ALraml camp in Lathakeia.

Residents of the Palestinian compounds are accusing those factions of cooperating with the Syrian intelligence and provide them with information about the Palestinian youth. In addition, they help the security of prosecuting the wanted youth under the pretext of not joining the obligatory military services or cooperating with the opposition groups or rejecting the regime.

A number of refugees talked about some pro-regime Palestinian groups who manipulate the deteriorated economic conditions, he scarcity of financial resources, and the widespread of unemployment, in light of the ongoing war events and the displacement of thousands of Palestinian refugees.
