ISIS informs civilians to leave Al-Hajar Al-Aswad neighborhood and head to Yarmouk camp

ISIS in south Damascus informed the civilians living in Al-Hajar Al-Aswad, ISIS’s stronghold, of leaving the area and heading to Yarmouk camp. According to our reporter, ISIS wants to evacuate the neighborhood to transfer it into a military zone.

The labor force from the civil institutions, bodies and local councils and some military factions in south Damascus had previously issued a statement, stressing that almost 6000 civilians are living in Al-Hajar Al-Aswad, Yarmouk camp, Al-Tadamon neighborhood and Al-Assaly region, assuring that the residents of these areas are civilians, not members or loyals of ISIS. The statement also indicated that children form about 40% of the areas’ residents, as well as 30% women, 10% elderly people and 20% men.
