Displaced Palestinian Families Struggling for Survival in Idlib

Palestinian families displaced from Yarmouk and Khan Eshieh refugee camps, along with other areas in Damascus, to the northern Syrian province of Idlib have been grappling with dire humanitarian conditions.

The refugees continue to denounce the steep rental fees which they said have hit US$100 per month.

High rates of unemployment and discriminatory practices have made life far worse for dozens of displaced Palestinian families in the area. Most refugee tents have also been infected by a poor hygiene.

Some 256 displaced Palestinian families continue to appeal to UNRWA, the Palestine Liberation Organization, the Turkish authorities, and the concerned humanitarian institutions to take urgent action as regards their tragic situation.
