The 2025 Syrian Arab Republic Taekwondo Black Belt Championship concluded at Tishreen Sports City, with the participation of elite taekwondo champions from various governorates and across all age groups, both male and female.
The Daria Taekwondo team distinguished itself with a strong performance and honorable results, with Palestinian player Jouri Muhammad Daknash winning first place and the gold medal in the junior category. The championship served as an occasion to honor Palestinian-Syrian talent in sports. Jouri is a seventh-grade student at Al-Majdal School, originally from Haifa, Palestine, and resides in the Mezzeh district of Damascus.
It is worth noting that the championship marked the conclusion of the 2025 sports season and witnessed fierce competition among the participants.
