1,146 Palestinian Refugees Subjected to Forced Disappearance in Syrian Gov’t Lock-ups

1,146 Palestinian refugees in Syria, including 81 female refugees, have been subjected to enforced disappearance in the Syrian government penitentiaries since the outbreak of the deadly warfare.

AGPS documented the death of 458 Palestinian refugees under torture in the government-run penal complexes across war-torn Syria.

AGPS has frequently raised alarm bells over the mysterious fate of Palestinians incarcerated in Syrian regime lock-ups. However, most of the group’s appeals for revealing the names and conditions of the detainees have gone unheeded.
