Palestinian Refugee Arrested by Opposition Forces

Military police affiliated with the Syrian opposition to northwest of Aleppo arrested on Wednesday the Palestinian refugee Yehya AlSarhaan, nicknamed Abu Muhammad, in Deir Ballout Camp over allegations of his affiliations with ISIS militias.

Reporting from Deir Ballout Camp, an AGPS news correspondent said AlSarhaan was recruited as a military commander by ISIS militias in Street 15 in Yarmouk before he headed for the Syrian desert following a deal struck with the Syrian government on the aftermath of a military operation launched by the latter on April 19, 2018 on ISIS-held zones south of Damascus. AlSarhaan headed for Deir Ballout Camp to reunite with his wife and kids, before he was rounded up by the opposition forces.
